A very tucked away, special place on the outskirts of Chagford. One immediately feels enveloped in nature when entering the meadow. This is a humble dwelling that the owner shares with an abundance of wildlife. A rare find indeed. Meadows that haven't been farmed for years come alive with butterflies and orchids. I had the pleasure of painting here for a season in 2025. This was one of the pieces.
The painting is unframed and painted on a deep 4cm canvas. It could be framed easily if desired. I like it raw as it suits the subject.
